jig/spinnerbait skirt making

Hi guys,
Im starting to make my own skirts for spinnerbaits, Can you guys help with the skirt making tool. which one do i want? any help is appreactated.

what is the expander? and do i need both of those or just one?

I have both but if you are using the skirt tabs you only need the little tool. The little tool is what I use 90% of the time. The expander is good to do custom colors with loose strands but it is not needed for most colors.

I use a ball point pen that you take the guts out of and run a peice of bailing wire though it. Put a hook on the end of it and run you bands up on the pen. You can then hook the skirts(tab skirts) and pull it into the end of the pen. Then you can roll you band out onto the skirt. I also like to wrap mine with wire
