Has anyone used a fluid bed for powder painting? Is it worth the price?

I've not used one, but I saw these videos, and it looks like it might be a good way to go. It's got me thinking (and that's usually not a good thing). Tackle Underground also has a bunch of threads on them in the "wire baits" forum.

Hope this helps!
you can make one for about $10 all you need is some pvc an aquarium air pump and some coffee filters you can go to http://www.tackleunderground.com and there are guys that have step by step instructions on how to make one just remeber that different colors of powder paints work in the fluid bed better than others.
NO, i hate mine. I wish I would have never bought the damn thing.
Thanks for the tips on http://www.tackleunderground.com. I made my own fluid bed for around $20 and it works great. Much faster with better results...![]()

I have one that I bought off a TU member named Dayooper(sp?) for like $35 and it really helps for powdercoating jigs. Unless you do a lot of them it really isn't needed but I make a couple hundred a year so it is worth the money.
