    Best primer to use?

    What kind of primer would you use on plastic bodied production baits? also I wasn't gonna strip all the paint off just rough it up a little.

    kbkindle here just what stacey told me and what createx paint said just shoot a coat of there white as a base coatkb

    If you feel like you need to prime it you can use something like Rust-Oleum
    sandable auto primer/ fast drying. That way you know it's sealed if your in doubt in any way. By using the primer it also gives you a nice smooth surface to start off with as your base. Let it dry and hit it with an extra fine grit and your good to go. Just don't apply it to heavy.
