    Jerkbaits?

I love fishing the jerkbait - one of my go to baits but I have not experimented with very many of them (mainly have used a pointer knockoff I bought on ebay a while back) and have fished a few x-raps. Looking for a good suspending bait.

Looking for your recommendations on jerkbaits..below are the main ones I am considering:
    Jackall squad minnow
    Dawia TD minnow
    Pointer and skinny pointer
    excalibur twitch
    x-rap

Please do give me your feedback on what you think of these or other recommendations. If I can find a less expensive one that is always beneficial but really I only need probably 15-20 jerkbaits total as really...how often do we leave our 2-3 confidence colors?
Where are the BIG ones? When are we going?
LOOKING for a Great deal on a Slightly used 20-21' Boat.

The best jb is not on the list. Megabass 110. Get you some luck e strike knockoffs if you don't want to spend 25 paper bait. But the 110 is best I've tried
I also like Molix baits although they are tough to come by

X raps are good but so are good ol smith wick rogues. Good luck fun way to fish.

    Re: Jerkbaits? (Bigguyone)

I have used suspending rouges and regular rouges for decades. Cheap and effective. The only jerkbaits I disliked were 3 BPS jerkbaits I found in a tree. I should have known they didn't catch bass because they were so easy to reach. They are now in another tree waiting for another sucker.

    Good Fishing!

A Megabass Vision is an excellant jb, pricy, but definitely my preferance. #2 on my list is an Ima Flit 120, also a great jb, and about $10 less per bait.

Haven't gotten a chance to throw them yet but I just bought 2 Spro McStick's. Hoping they will perform as well as they are said to. Got a sweet deal on them so I couldn't pass it up.

I think the mcsticks are good baits. Haven't used them personally but heard good things

I am also a jerk bait guy.

I love the Rapala Husky Jerk and the Xrap.

Rediscovered the Smithwick Rogue, always had a few in the box but have purchased a few more for this season.

The XCalibur® EEratic Shad Edwin Evers Signature Model is another under $10 bait that I have heard good things about.

Been buying Lucky Craft pointers this winter as well.

I've mainly used the smithwick rogue, and while I like it, it doesn't cast as well as some of the newer models. I have a few of the Ima Flits, small models (can't remember the names of them), and they cast really well. If I were in the market for new tackle, I'd take a real hard look at the McSticks too.

I am a McStick guy. Love-em. Green Chrome is my go to color. I have also used the Luck-E-strike bait some late this winter. It has been pretty successful too.

    Re: (M-Wiggy)

I have got a bunch of different Jerkbaits and the Eeratic shad by Excalibur worked pretty good for me last Spring. A good bait that doesnt break the bank. My personal opinion is the Squad Minnow is one that I should have picked up a Slender Pointer instead.
