I use a lot of minnow type baits for walleyes in cold weather. Normally I cast and crank with a steady retrieve, occasionally a twitch-pause. I am getting tired of paying up to $8 or $10 for lures that don't run true, and have cheap hooks.

How do the Pointers run on a steady retrieve? I am thinking about trying a few. I'm looking for a shallow running (2-4') and a nice wide wobble.

The ice is forming here now or I'd go buy one and check it out myself.
