I use 14lbs fluoro on spinnerbaits all the time but here on Murray I have never caught a bass at night with a spinnerbait.
If you fish any night tournaments, try a black/red
I think you will be OK with the fluoro for that, but if you have any reservations, I don't see a reason to change. I personally dont use fluoro for spinnerbaits, but that's just me. I actually like the forgiveness of mono for a blade. 17 lb. Suffix Seige currently.
I use fluoro for spinnerbaits and crankbaits at night.
I actually prefer braid, with a little softer rod than normal.
I use 15 pound Big Game for my day time spinnebaits, but at night I go with the clear blue so I can see me line.
I will throw a spinnerbait in the laydowns/trash, the clear blue with the blacklight lets you find your bait if you hang up also.
I use a A.C.T. Lures 3/8oz all black, short arm, with a single gold colorado blade, and use a Uncle Josh kicker frog trailer on the back.
Normally I throw a black trailer, but if the moon is out the fish love the puprle trailer

Yes...everytime. Was using braid but it seems to get tangled up in the snap rings to often. 17lb minimum....and if it's anything like the lakes around here, they MURDER the bait. Best feeling bite there is.![]()
15# Vicious FC handles spinnerbaits very well. Great price point, sensitive and abrasion resistant.
