    Jigging spoons

I was wondering what pound line to use on a jigging spoon to fish ledges or would using braided line be advisable?

I use 14 lb. mono. If it hangs up, you can jiggle it or bow and arrow it free. I also use a 6 ft. medium/heavy rod. Jigging spoons for a long time tires the forearm. The shorter rod is less tiring.

14lb Floro for me. I also use a snap/swivel to keep it from wrecking my floro line as a spoon will twist your stuff beyond recognition if you don't watch out for it.
