I would have to say brovarney baits, for swilliams the key in heavy cover is to simply not stop reeling, the moment you do it will roll just enough for the hook to catch but if you keep swimming it nice and steady you should have no problems whatsoever.

I make my own swim jigs I use a poison head swim jig for standard swimming jig with a 30 degree round bend hook instead of the ewg they recommend I also had Ron Hammondtree make me a mold similar to the bass asault and the KVD swim jig I also have another one from Ron that is a copy of the daves tournament tackle but uses a little heavier hook both of these models work great in the grass.

As far as adding a blade I would attach it to the hook with a piece of heat shrink over the eye of the swivel

For night fishing I use either a candy bug or black magic both can be bought from fishing skirts.com

Take a look at the new Brandon Mcmillan Signature Series 4x4 Swim Jig! Brandon won an Everstart event at Lake Seminole using this jig this year and Justin Lucas also scored a 2nd place on the Potomac River in the FLW Tour event. It is the only swim jig I have in my boat. Check em out at www.4x4bassjigs.com

I like Booyah Boo Jigs in 5/16 and 3/8 oz. Cheap and readily available with a pretty good head for swimming.

Also, I've used the willow blade and swivel as a trailer with good success.
