Ive been fishing all my soft swims on yo-hybrid 15lb and havent had any issues. I use a weighted hook(swimbait style) but some soft swims use a treble hook..The shudder shad has a line through system like some other baits that when you get a hookup the bait slides up the line and you just have the treble fighting the fish and not all that bulk. Its been a great bait so far!
Any paddle tails that I use im using a gammy super hook with a pinch weight on them that Ive made.
