How does it differ how a pop r sits in the water?

I had a bucket of water and decided to place my ricos, splash it ,etc in the bucket. I have some that sit straight up and down, some with the tail down, and two that sit level to the water. My question is how does this effect performance and which one is better. Or does it matter what kind of splash the fish want that day.

Re: How does it differ how a pop r sits in the water? (earl t.)

There was an article in FLW mag a year or two ago that did a comparison on about 10 different brands. Some were designed for splashing, some popping, some were better at fast retreive, some at slow. In other words, even though they look almost exactly alike, they are designed for different purposes. I'll see if I can find that article.
