Silicone spray does help but it puts an oily residue on your baits which you can see if you dip your bait in the water. You will see oil rings. Best bet is to just buy replacement skirts. Check out Secret Weapon Lures web site. They are awesome spinner baits. They are so versetile, you can change up blades and skirts and make just the right combination for whatever the fish want. guarenteed if you have one of there kits and can make suttle changes you will catch more fish. Yes I am sponsored by them but i only promote them because they realy work. Atleast check out the pro tips on there website. There are tons of tips and helpful bits of info. They are also a BBC sponsor.
