Since my tackle collection has continued to grow from bare minimum to a moderate collection. I have started to store my lipped crankbaits by running depth. This is easy for newly purchased baits as the depth is listed on the package. However, I would like to know how deep my older baits are running. Is there any rule of thumb, or trick to discovering how deep a lipped bait will run? I don't have access to a deep swimming pool so that option is out.
Only way I can keep up with it is by taking a marker and writing the depth on the bottom of the bait where it meets the bill when I take them out of the pack. I'm lost otherwise.
That is exactlly what I'm doing,.....Now. I just need to find out how deep my older ones run before I can mark them. Thanks.

Look them up in the BPS catalogue it should say how deep they run
