Here is a quasi-scientific study of FC lines. Notice that there are two articles. After studying the results, I conclude that InvisX is the best b/c its knot strength is superior, and the knot is where you're going to break off most of the time. Notice that the study shoots holes in the common misconception that FC doesn't stretch and is invisible.

Bass Pro Shops FC did well, too. It may be the best for the money.

Read the study and come to your own conclusions.

On that link that Jim mentioned above. It shoots holes in SOME of the lines in the stretch category. The Invis X actually had more stretch than their base nylon monofilament. In fact it was the worst one. Probably a coorelation between stretch and knot strenght here. Also in the visibility portion of this article Tackle tour calls the visibility section test of this article inconclusive... Definitely a great read and more tests are in the works..

    I use the Yo-Zuri Hybrid from 8# - 25#
I have had good luck with it for the last 3 seasons but, High Heat makes it like cable and gives you bad memory issues.

Good luck with it, there is alot of good lines out there these days.
