    which jig for rocks?

    I like fishing jigs around rip rap, but more times than not I find myself hung up. The jig I've been using is a 3/8 Boo jig. Is there a better design head that doesn't get hung in the rocks?

    my favorite jig is the Omega Jig it was developed on Tablerok Lake and Lake of the Ozarks and the design of the head is more like a triangle and it come through the rocks much better than a round head jig it also has a flatt spot on the head and will stand up better with the hook up so its a more natural look in the water and also helps in skipping the bait under docks
    give them a try

    Here's my rule of thumb:
    wood / timber = round jigs
    rocks = football jigs
    grass = pointy or thin head jigs.

    Just what's been working for me. I also use a round jig around rocks, but rarely a pointed head
