Sight/Bed fishing and a full moon???

Hey fellas! (And ladies) This is the first season that I've even tried to find fish that are bedding.. We've had some success, but really dont understand the fish movements much, according to the full moon? I always hear fish will move up in cycles, during the full moon, for a couple of months.. But what I dont understand is what this means really?? Do they move up on the exact day of a new full moon? Or do they start to move up a week before, etc., etc.. It's not like one night there's no moon at all, then the next it's full.. Know what I mean? So, Im wondering how the fish normally relate to a new/full moon, and what days are usually the best to find them "pinned" on a bed? Thanks for any insight!!

Not every fish in the lake is going to spawn on the full moon. Allot depends on the weather and if the nights stay warm keeping the water temp up. The majority of the fish will spawn around a full or new moon and I personally consider that three days before and three days after as the moon phase window.

full and new moons do play a part in fish pulling up to spawn, but water temp is just or more important than moon phase.when the temp gets right you'll see fish moving in to spawn but during moon changes from increaseing to decreaseing and vise /versa you'll notice a increased activity.
