Push Poles

I need some high-speed fellow out there to give me a good substitute for an official Push Pole needed to fish low water conditions. Help?

Home Depot. 12 to 15 ft. will do the trick. Also use thompson's water seal on it. 2 to 3 coats .Trust me , it will last alot longer if you do that. They normally have 2 different sizes. I think they're 3/4 & 1 inch . The smaller of the 2 work's better.It's lighter and when your ready to plant it on the bottom , it goes in alot easier. Hope that helped.

thanks! There is a post for everything on the BBC! Great ideas and contacts for the real macoy push pole. I will try my local high school for a pole vault.

Wood. I'm not sure what kind but that's why I put on the water sealer. It's around $15.00 or so.
