Any one have experience with these?? I would like to know what size weight gives then a decent fall rate. I am looking at rigging the on tru-tungsten Ikey head jigs.

I tried them 2 ways! on a 1/16 oz jig head with heavy wire hook and the other was weightless on a heavy hook(4/0superline hook)I liked the weightless and it caught 3 keeper fish jighead only got 1 dink all on same stretch of bank(about 200 yards)
I drag them on a 1oz football head. They work great for spotted bass on deep clear lakes. I have also caught fish C-rigging them and flipping them. They are great bait no matter how you fish them
Thanks guy's, I am real excited about using these. I have ignored then in the past and don't know why.
the chompers(like the GYBC) are killer on Lake of the Ozarks here on football jigheads around big chunk rock banks
As you've heard most any type of stand-up/ football head works well. I use from 1/8 to 3/4 ounce heads , the skirt really slows the fall on light heads. Another thing you might want to try would be dragging them on a C-rig.![]()
They are my go to bait. I fish them everyway you could imagine. My favorite is on a 1/4 ounce swim head. My fovarite color is cinnamin/blk flake and I always dip the tail in chartreuse spike it. I caught 50 smallies in 2 days down on k.lake a coupl weeks ago using this technique...SMG
Man, I love these things!!! I have used them every time out so far with great success. I use then as a follow up for a missed strike and also anywhere tight to cover, I had fish hit them on the fall and on the bottom like a jig. Even had a 5 pounder totally engulf it as soon as it hit the water. I love'em big time.
