    What are the signs of a bad stator? or one that is starting to go bad?

    Dramatic decrease in power, batteries not charging, black/tar looking substance coming out from under the flywheel where it is... just to name a few..........

    Grab a hold of the yellow and the yellow/gray stripe wire while your buddy cranks the motor, you'll know quick, ! DO NOT DO THIS IT WAS ONLY INTENDED AS A JOKE THE VOLTAGE CAN KILL YOU! Use a meter and check the output in AC range. CM

    Nope if you grab them two they don't let go! Ai yi yi! Bout 300 VAC. Especially nice if you are standing in a puddle of H20 checking other stuff.
