I need the support of the local bass fishing community.

The City of Chesapeake will be conducting a Wounded Warriors Fishing Tournament on Sunday, June 3rd, 2012 at NORTHWEST RIVER PARK and I will be coordinating volunteer boats for the event. The wounded warriors are U.S. Marines stationed at Quantico.

Unfortunately the planning is in the very early stages and I do not have all the details yet.

I have been asked to get volunteer boats and conduct the weigh-in. Boats will launch from Bob's Fishing Hole and motor to the NWR Park. Although I am doing this on behalf of Region 7 BASS/TBF, I am welcoming support from all local fisherman for this worthy cause.

Please keep this date in mind and help support this event if possible.
