Just put in new impellar and testing motor out on the muffs and got a no oil alarm. I shut the motor down and tried it again after a few minutes and the same thing happened. Anything to look for?

Welcome to the BBC.
We will need more information, your model number and what oil you are using will help us help you.
thanks!!
2000 225hp ficht, model # model E225FP.
not sure what oil b/c I just got the boat, he said he ran a name brand tcw-3 but didn;t say a particular kind.
is this something i need to take to a tech or can i check some things first?
Thanks!!
There should be more letters to that model #
model # E225FPXSSH
Can anyone tell me some ideas of things to look for or do I need to take it somewhere?
Check to see if any oil hoses were disturbed when you removed and reinstalled the gearcase, especially by the shift linkage screw. If not, have a trained tech take a look at it and run diagnostic tests.

is there a fuse that i can check? I looked at all the lines and I don't think anything was moved or touched when i removed the cowling. I started the motor up, and pinched the return oil line, and didn't get any smoke which made me nervous. to me that seems like the oil pump isn't pumping oil at all
Check the fuses in the PDP, black box full of fuses and relays, you will most likely need an oil injector.
there are two types of NO OIL error codes, one for not enough pressure at the pump and an oil injector that has an open or shorted (fuse blown) circuit and not firing when it should.
Diagnostic software and pressure gauge and fittings are needed to troubleshoot the system.

ok, i tried a few things b.c all the shops here a 7-14 day sfrom looking at it. I pulled the return line off the tank with the motor running and the oil is pumping. In about 30 seconds i had 3/4 of a 20oz bottle filled with oil. I ran the boat on the muffs for about 5-6 minutes and didn't get an alarm this time. is it possible it had an air bubble before and it finally bled out or do you think i still have an issue there? I have access to a used oil injector so I could swap it out if that is likely the issue
I have ordered the ficht software so hoping i can fix the issue myself, just looking for some advice

all the fuses looked good. I can get a oil injector so are you saying the best option would be to go ahead and swap out the injector?
Will the ficht software tell me if the injector is bad or not?

Most likely the oil injector is failing, if you can get one to try that would be the best.
Could be a simple as a faulty oil pressure switch. Need to read codes from EMM.
Could be but with an engine that old in years I would change the oil injector.
thanks for all the help so far, i really appreciate it.
is it pretty simple to do? I have a used one that i can swap on there. i would like to go ahead and swap it if it isn't too complicated. also, are these injectors known to cause problems? I was just wondering if it is something that wears out reguraly on these motors, and if they are rebuildable or if you normally just scrap them.
Not a problem but parts do fail some times, you will need to scrap it.
