I pulled my airbox on my 2000 I175 Ficht, cant find the schrader valve. I see the inline fuel filter and the intakes for each cylinder. Is it colored or labeled? I read something on BBC about being close to the primer. Where is the primer? thanks

Don't confuse the Schrader valve on a FICHT motor compared to a carbureted motor.
On a FICHT, the valve is ONLY for checking fuel pressure to the injectors and it should be between 20-30 psi. It is located on the aft part of your motor next to the vapor separator tank.
On a carbureted motor, the valve is behind the air silencer and located on the red primer lever. It is used to inject Engine Tuner (carbon cleaner) or fogging oil into the crankcase.

where can I hook up the can to decarb the motor?
On a DI motor (Ficht) you should spray the tuner down the air intakes (throttle valves), there is not a place to hook the tuner can on these motors.
rusty can you explain the sequence to decarb in a DI motor. I would hate to screw up and fry a motor.
If you use the BRP Engine Tuner just follow the directions on the can with one exception, if you do this on the hose...Do Not Rev the motor to 1500, a DI (Ficht) will not stop at 1500 RPM's..... just let it idle.
Is this correct? change plugs, put boat in water, spray engine tuner into each throttle body with quick 2 second bursts, let sit for 8 hours, put boat back into water, let idle for 15 minutes, change plugs? is that right?
Are you reading that from a can of BRP Engine Tuner?
When you spray Engine Tuner into a FICHT or any other direct injected motor, it will increase rpms, sometimes by quite a bit.
The best way is to back down the trailer in the water so the gearcase is submerged and warm up the engine, put it in gear at idle, and use 2 cans of Tuner. Using both hands, spray Tuner into both banks of throttle bodies (one for each side) at the same time. That way you get a lot of cleaner into the motor at once. Use 4 second bursts and go to the next set of throttle bodies, repeat until cans are almost empty and shut motor off. Wait the 3 to 13 hours and run the motor for about 15 min. to clean out the Tuner.
Use Carbon Guard for a tank of fuel for a super cleanup inside the motor.
