Planning on going to see my nehpews who live in Mechanicsville,Va. What is the best time of year to go? Looking to bring family and boat with to take them fishing. Have heard about the stripers on Lake Anna and want to try it. Any info would be greatful. Thanks
Take your pick. Best time to be in our state would be from about May til at least Oct...So whenever you are ready come on down. Mech. is just about dead smack in the middle of the state so nothing will be really far to drive to. James River, Pamunkey, Kerr, Gaston, Potomac, Chick River, Anna, Chick Lake are all pretty close to your nephew...
You have alot of options on places to fish. let us know when you are coming.
