He waded if he went much farther with the river being at four and a half feet.
I went up by the CONDO duck blind and it was very do-able(trolling motor only or jon boat). Very dangerous up that way now. I remember we used to run it all the time WOT..Now I don even think its worth idling with all the stuff I saw under the surface of the water.

Fred and his grandson went fishing yesterday afternoon for about 2 hours and his grandson managed to catch 2 nice size bass. Didn't have to go far on the Chowan to get them. His grandson had not seen the store since we opened. He's military stationed in Jacksonville. Was in Irag for a while but back now.
When you said upper, you meant upper! I use to put in @ hercules w/ a jonboat but not my current boat. It gets pretty hairy beyond their pretty quick. I've put in @ Carey's Bridge before & in jonboat only.
