The lower end of the lake looked like chocolate milk. Ran up to nut bush area caugh 12 the best 5 would have been right at 14-15 lbs . One 4lbs 11 oz and one at 3lbs 8 oz the three solid 2-2.5 lb fish.

I fished today, lower lake, had 12, best 5 out of what I landed would have been 12lbs....broke off a pig, had some bad line on the reel I guess, because I retied and broke off the next fish. Suprised how many people I talked to didn't even catch a keeper today. The fishing wasn't as good as I expected, but it wasn't bad either.

You did a lot better than me. I fished Panhandle and Eastland and caught a bunch of fish, but hardly any size at all. Maybe 2 over 14''.

Stayed in Hibernia area-what boats do you guys run?
Stratos 200XL blue. The 5 or 6 bigger fish mouths were blood red where they had been feeding.
I saw a guy on red champ-in ranger cut near Hibernia--------not sure if I knew him or not
Will be back next weekend for 2 days----2 tx's

Next weekend is just the beginning for me also-next 3 weekends for sure and 1 in May
Looks like the water level is going to be 303 next weekend, 302 for several weeks after, should be on fire for the next couple of weeks. Saw alot of little buck bass starting to migrate into the pockets yesterday afternoon.

I fished the muddy water yesterday and had around 25 fish between 1.5 and 2lb.
came in third with 5 that went 10.54 and first was 11 and some change. I caught all mine on a Zoom lizard around the outside of the bushes
