I sold this motor/ boat combo a few weeks ago. New owner has a concern about a noise that the motor makes between 2000 and 3500 RPM's. It sounds like an intermittent tick,tick,tick. No tick at idle or WOT. It has done this since I bought it new back in 98. Dealer said it was nothing to be concerned about, when I asked about it back in 98. It has always run perfect , just has a tick. I don't remember serial#,sorry.
