Virginia Tech needs boaters for club tournament on SML

Hey everyone,

The VT Bass Fishing Team is having a club tournament on Smith Mountain Lake on Sunday November 29th. There are a few guys without boats and need a boater to drive them around for the day. If you and your boat are available then it would be a big help. The club pays for boat/vehicle gas. Reply here, IM me, or send me an email @ caleb9@vt.edu if you want to do it.

You may want to list a few details....what ramp? Time of launch and weigh in...how many boats you need....can the boat captain fun fish during tourney...things like that...

I apologize for taking so long. I've been busy lately and it slipped my mind. I will post the information tomorrow as soon as I get it, but the time should be about 7am to 2pm or 3pm. We need two boats, but if we can only get one then that'd be great too. The boater can do a little fun fishing if they want to, it's just a club tournament among the VT team members so rules are pretty lenient.

Last time the two anglers paid the boater $30 to $40 ($15 to $20 from each). And the club filled up the boaters truck with gas. So it would be of no cost to you and probably a little gain. I am one of the guys who needs a boat so if you could do this, it would be greatly appreciated! I will give all of this information on the boards tomorrow.

We will be launching from the boat ramp right across from the Hales Ford Bridge. My map calls it the HALES FORD BOAT LANDING. The tourney will start approximately 7am and it will end at 3pm.
