    Look like those are designed more to keep it from getting ripped off, where as the Wee-Vee keeps it from getting hit at all.

    Good looking item tho. Makes me think some.

    I prefer the frontal impact protection the Wee-Vee SI gives...I haven't had any problems with mine loosening up or anything, and trust me, I'hve hit some junk with my TM

    This guard will provide 360* impact protection, no doubt. I've had it in my hands, and it's a stout product.

    Looking at the vid, that mount doesn't provide full protection in front. The mount is only about 1/3 as wide as the transducer itself, so the corners of the transducer are still subject to impact.

    You can also see this on their site.

    That's what I was talking about.

    Another good thing about this product, if you have a transducer that has the ears broken off, it will still work with this shield.
