Well;

Things have been a bit tough. Mom is pretty weak. After 3 weeks in a bed. She starts out patient Physical therapy next week. She is very nervous and shaky.

So far she has fallen three times. One a couple days ago, one last night at 3am and another one this afternoon. Unfortunately with a bad back and shoulder, I cant lift her so I have to call rescue to come help me..

Where she fell today she has a great big swollen bruise on her back and on her buttocks...and can't sit comfortably right now...where she hit the night stand next to her bed. Poor thing, it looks awful.... And naturally after the home health care nurses have stopped coming....

She was getting in home PT but it stopped when doc ordered the out patient PT. But they did not have an opening til Wednesday....With all she has been through she really is pretty amazing, but recouping has been harder than we expected....She's not even able to get up out of a chair at this point, so doc wrote her a script for one of those lift chairs.

I am working on that now...I have to say, they are quite expensive, so were it not for you guys...she would be mostly confined to a bed....we talked it over and decided to use a part of your generous donations to get her a chair...even with a docs script, they only pay for the actual lift mechanism..

Bill came by after the TX and dropped off the envelope, she was so touched she got teary eyed after he left. She can't stop talking about how amazing you all are...

So, I cant tell you how much this meant to both of us...that chair will be something she can use for hopefully many years....and we will always think of you all for giving her that comfort.....

please continue the prayers, the road ahead is much more difficult than I anticipated....

PS: we are naming the chair the "BBC" chair......(I told her it also meant the "big butt chair" ).....
