What is the recommended cold crankinking amps for a 2000 175 ficht? a service tech recommended a 1000 cca battery because of direct injection motor. Is this true and why?
I think the recommended cranking amps were around 750-850 or so.
The reason most every one suggests a 1000 amp battery is, if you use a aerator all day or, black lights and a aerator all night and don't crank the motor and run to recharge.... a smaller battery may not start the motor.
