    Back home again....

Well, I'm back home and unpacked from the rally. Just wanted to say thanks to the Vicks and anyone else who helped put this all together and coordinating everything.

I had an awesome time, and met a bunch of good folks. Even managed to catch some nice fish on saturday. ALso picked up some ideas for mods to my rig to make it more user friendly.

Next time, I'm gonna have to plan on making it the whole time.

Lots of 'interesting' stories and tales to be told.

Time for sleep now....work tonight is gonna come early.....

Looking forward to the next one, mini or not !!

I too would like to thank the coordinators for putting together the time and effort to put this thing on. I hope to stay a bit longer next year myself. Knotsnatcher says he'll return to defend the title so maybe we'll come up and stay a few days. I loved the Bayview, it was very nice and we were very pleased we got a room there.

Great to see all the people I knew, and was a pleasure to meet the ones I didn't know. It had been eight years since I had seen a couple people there. Maybe some more of the old Delphi crew will show up next year.

Well, another one has come and gone. We made it home around 11 this morning and finally have everything unpacked and put away.

Sure was great to see the old gang again, as well as meet a couple new friends and finally put some faces to the names. And man-o-man, the surprise guest appearance by Roland Martin just put the finishing touches on a great rally.

No words can express what a privilege it was to get to spend an entire week with friends like BigCheese and Bassgirl81, both here at the house and then at the lake.

Thanks to all of you who helped out with various tasks, I won't get into names for fear of leaving someone out with one exception. "Thank You" Sandra for all you have undertaken and done the last several months to help pull this rally off.

As usual, our hosts, Sim, Simora, and Sophie at Bayview were the absolute best to be found. No unanswered requests, genuine southern and Asian hospitality second to none. And the homemade yellow pancakes and spring rolls Saturday night were just one more example of how they treat all their guests.

Again, was wonderful to see everybody, and after several suggestions, we'll be putting some details out in the near future about a mid summer mini gathering. Till then, cya!

guys, sorry that gary and I had to cut out before the official rally weigh-in. I had hoped to say goodbye to all. I had a hoot and realized how much I appreciate the people on this board. Gina and the kids called me twice Sunday while they were doing my work around the house, gary was "starving", so I decided to get on the road sooner than I hoped. We will be back at the next Rally, and are already looking forward to it. Greg, Sandra and Andrew, thanks for doing all that you do to make all of us of feel at home.
