So this was a different morning of fishing for me. My dad and nephew are meeting me at a lake close to my dad’s house. I left home about 11am. Once I saw the lake I knew it was gone to be tough. It has curly leaf pond weed bad!! Once on the water I started trying to get something figured out that was easy and anyone could do. I thought we could fish the dam and get some bites (normally good at this lake) I tried lots of other areas and baits but nothing. Tried the Dan and got one bite right away. They got there so off we went. I didn’t go to the dam first but tried some other spots with no luck. Then we moved to the dam. So what can a 14yr throw that gets bites?? Oh yes the stick worm rigged wacky!! And man did we watch the bass!! Mostly shorts but we did get 2 keepers! It was super fun seeing have a good time. Hopefully we can get out again soon before baseball goes full swing. I’m putting a picture in of him holding the best 2 of the day. I did black out his face because he and his family don’t know I’m posting this Lol and I thought that would be best. Bigger ones 3lbs ish..
