Anyone have the Ionic Emergency Starter mounted to their cranking? Curious if works well? And I know it mounted to the battery and hooked up, but confused on how works. If battery dead you use the app to turn it on and then I gues attempt to start your engine? I also read it will charge the battery so unclear if it just does that on its own, or does that through the app to the point I dont need to jump start it?
its a 5ah battery that runs parallel with your cranking , it charges with your cranking battery, it reserves its power for the emergency start and can be activated by pressing the button on the device or thru the app, once you start the engine it will recharge

I have one. I use it when it’s cold. My optimax struggles to start on very cold mornings. I used to just use the app but I believe my Bluetooth went out in the jumpbox.

I have one on my rock crawler it works to jump start when battery is dead yes.
