Shallow water mode

Supposedly with the Z-touch you can use shallow water mode to get on plane in shallow water.
I have been playing around with it and for some reason I can not comprehend using it to hole shot in shallow water.
When I proceed to use it the bow shoot up to the sky and the stern digs down really low.
All I see is the lower unit digging deeper in the water.
That could make for a very bad day as far as I can tell.

What am I missing?
What don't I understand?

I think it’s just for shadow water Idling and fishing….. Do you have a jack plate on the boat?

I bet the jack plate (hydraulic) is part of the package?

All this does is raise the hydraulic jp. Nothing magical.

Shallow mode raises my Jackplate to 60 percent and the trim to 18 percent.
