    Advice on smartcraft options

I know there's lots of various threads about smartcraft info already. I did some searches, but there's so much info and many threads predate existing options.

I purchased a new to me Lund with a 2005 115hp Optimax. I'm interested in hearing what my options are for accessing some engine info. Primarily want to access hours, rpm, and water temp. Anything else is a bonus.

I understand the latest Smartcraft Connect and a NEMEA 2000 network will be the nicest setup but at nearly $1k.

The Smartcraft Connect Mobile will allow me to access the same info but only on my phone for around $200.

Are there other decent options for a reasonable cost? Can I hook up a separate water temp gauge somehow? I see various Smartcraft gauge packages online. Any recommendations?

Suggest dropping Rhonda in our parts department an email. She can provide you with the best options, as well as special BBC member pricing.

See her post pinned at the top of the 3L Mercury forum for email contact info.

Ah! Those sticky threads over there were just the info I needed to narrow my research. I hadn't thought to look there since my outboard belongs here. Thanks! I will email Rhonda when I'm ready to price some options.

Although your engine is a correct fit for this forum- the 3L forum has a TON of Optimax-specific information (after all: your engine is quite literally one-half of a 3L).
