Made it 503 miles down the road, (73 miles from Kings Bay) when I looked in the sideview mirror and saw little chunks of rubber coming off my port trailer tire. By the time I got to the side of the road that thing was history.Since I left my tool box in the garage when packing the truck yesterday morning I was pretty relieved when he wrecker service guy pulled up and asked if I needed any help. Of course I didn't realize I needed $125 worth of help.
25 miles farther down the road, in stop and go traffic, a guy pulls up next to me and tells me he saw a little smoke coming from my stbd trailer tire.

Didn't find anything wrong with that tire but the hub felt warmer than the one of the other side, so I babied it down the road to my buddies house where we're going to do a complete rebuild of hubs, bearings, checking the brakes, and replacing the tires this weekend.
Thanks Lea for being the freindly ear thru all this yesterday.![]()
