Higher frequencies are for detail at close range. For 100’ you want 455 kHz. You will see nothing at 1075.

Disappointed in the hd3n1 side imaging as well. Even at 455k I don't have near the range as the original 3n1. Downscan at 700k or 1200k is much improved.
I run 455 all the time, looking for crappie structure 1075 is just to dark. I’m usually scanning in 5-30’ of water, anything past 60’ on the range is useless.
