    Toon Cleaning

We recently bought a toon and I keep it in the water so I've committed to once a month taking it home and cleaning the toons. Yesterday was that day for the first cleaning. Its crazy what can happen in a month. I used NAPA Aluminum Brightener and an electric pressure washer. It was a dirty job, but came off decently easy. I have a plan for the rest of the warmer months. Once a week, we are going to take it to the sand bar and jump out and wipe it while sitting in the water with a scotch pad. I am hoping that might work. I will have to do that anyways to get where the boat was sitting on the bunks.

Never ending battle. Just enjoy the boat and clean toons once a year. Mine sits on a lift and still gets dull and dirty.

I sold mine several years ago due to the fact that mildew kept getting on the seats even with mildew blocker on them plus I kept it under a metal canopy. It was also covered in the winter months.
