Tilt but no trim from TH Marine turn signal switch

My TH Marine turn signal Fingerflex tilt and trim switch on the steering column does not trim, but it tilts up. It works off my throttle handle and it works off my Yamaha 225 Sho motor but not from the tilt/trim switch on the column. Any ideas?

    That is bewildering to me.

How the pump motor will only work the tilt cylinder but not the trim cylinders with one switch.

But with two other switches the pump motor will affect both the trim cylinders and the tilt cylinder.

That's what baffled me, too. I used the trim button on the throttle handle for an hour or so then tried the turn signal and it worked for the rest if the day. Still got mee confused.

It doesn't make sense. Maybe a bad ground wire causing it to lose amperage?

Why would it happen on only one out of the three switches that all do the same thing?
