    Reel for a MB X7 Criffhanger

    Looking for a reel for an old MB X7 rod I have to play in BFS. Was thinking Daiwa PX BF70 but haven't seen read much about it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

    The Daiwa PX BF70 is a fun little reel. I have mine on a Megabass P5 JDM Cliffhanger Thrilling right now and have used it on several other finesse oriented rods. It will make a fine match to your X7 Cliffhanger!

    Could go old school and find a classic pixy platform or presso to pair with it. Shouldn't have a problem finding a lightly used one, some are even upgraded.

    For current production reels you could get a Silver Creek TW, Gek, Steez Air, SS Air, PX BF70.

    If you aren't going to be throwing really light baits a Steez CT would be a good mag finesse contender.

    If Shimano is your thing I would highly recommend the 2012 Alde BFS XG.
