Red fish trip

Wanting to go red fishing this year possibly the fall. Is there a best month to go? If so, where? And any lodging available?

Sept - Oct - Nov for the big oversize redfish.... after every bad front. That rough water brings em in. I win bull red division in numerous tournaments every year.

But when conditions are right we can target them year round. Don't go within a couple days of full moon or on the new moon.

Let me know i can get you on my calendar and we go light em around Galveston/Freeport.

Can go after slot reds anyday.

I forget that things we take for granted, other people want!! I can go out pretty much any day in “my backyard” and catch redfish whenever….. they’re not quite as easy as they used to be but it’s a cycle… couple years ago, I’d bet my life I’d catch a limit of reds in 30 minutes 10 minutes from the house…. Now you gotta kinda work a little harder.. drought 2 summers ago hurt everything around here…it’s bouncing back tho..

Venice is where you want to go… hopedale a close second.. Lafitte would be next..
