    Active Captain (WiFi linked) tells me to start update from chartplotter

    Hey all,

    This morning something odd happened to me while trying to update my graphs. Just like many times before, the updates were downloaded and installed on my Active Captain app and waited for the start update prompt. Instead, my Active Captain app told me to start update from my chartplotter. Without ever giving a prompt to start or anything. I have my sd cards in and my app is connected via WiFi to my graphs. I waited and waited and nothing ever popped up to start the update on my graph or my phone on the app. And the app still says software updates ready for transfer. Has anyone ever ran into this problem before? I’ve went through all the steps to make sure I didn’t skip anything. Still, nothing at all. If anyone has any suggestions or tips please let me know it would be appreciated greatly.

    Stupid thought and maybe question but, when I'm updating from AC phone app I have to have the AC open on my chartplotter which gives the prompt to start the updates. You didn't say whether yours was open on your chartplotter or not. Don't know if this is correct or not but it seems to be the way I have to do it.
