advance gps or AS GPS HS

Ok I have (2) Solix 12's at the dash with AS GPS HS at the back of the boat. I have a Solid 15 and 12 at the bow. Minn Kota Ultrex quest with Mega 360 and Mega Live 2. All Grafts are networked with (2) AS ETH 5PGL
Is it better to have another AS GPS HS at bow or use the advance gps on trolling Motor.
Is there a advantage to have
AS GPS HS at bow too?

I have a similar setup with a single AS GPS HS located at the stern. From my front graphs I select it as the heading source and then I select the ultrex as the gps source for waypoints, mapping etc.. As long as you have no magnetic interference, a single puck will take care of the heading for the various networked graphs on the boat.

Unlike the Helix, with the Solix, Apex, and Xplore you can separately subscribe to GPS and Heading. That makes multiple Heading/GPS Sensors less important. The exception to this is if you want a GPS Source close to a transom transducer to improve GPS accuracy. It doesn't do any good for that to also be a Heading Sensor puck, but it won't hurt anything.

The other consideration is that the trolling motor Heading Sensor isn't available when the trolling motor is stowed. It's handy to have one additional Heading Sensor for those situations.
