    2018 250 opti clanking sound?

    model number: 1251P73BD
    serial number: 2B526674

Noticed this sound when running on muffs today, I didn’t hear it previously and only heard it because the cowl was off. Sounds like a clank, it’s loudest near the intake. Included video. Any insight would be appreciated

Sounds kinda normal to me. Could be the compressor getting ready to throw in the towel too.

Sounds just like a 250 Optimax... most of what you're hearing is reed slap.

Is it suppose to shake or vibrate that much? Mine does too.

    It's a computer-controlled, water-cooled, six-cylinder high performance two-stroke (highly glorified chain-saw) so yes, there's a little bit of vibration there.

If you've ever held a running twin-cylinder 2-stroke in your hands, it's downright amazing how smooth they've managed to make this engine run!
