    SHO VF200XB 20 hour service

Will be coming up on my 20 hour service on my 2023 sho 200. What should I be replacing at that interval? I plan on doing the engine oil, filter and lower unit oil. I see some kits online that also include like the fuel water separator and fuel filter. Is that part necessary as well? Would you use 10w30 or 5w30? I probably only put on 25-30 hours a year and never fish below freezing. I change the fluids yearly as well

No need to change fuel filters that soon. I'd also re-torque the prop nut and visually check everything under the hood. I'd stick with the regular 10w30 oil until 100 hours at least. Then it's up to you whether to switch to the more expensive full synthetic. I switched mine over at 100 hours only because i'm "anal" about stuff....

use yamalube 4m all the time
check impeller once a year, if cracked or memory, replace it. Check the cup for wear. Not very hard to do on these, but certainly do not neglect it
lubricate a few things (all in the manual)
check steering system, trailer, tires, etc (maybe not motor related but always a maintenance item)
while you have the cowl off, look for dirt dobber nests...those things will destroy an engine

look at the owners manual maintenance section, it outlines most everything. I also like to do oil changes more frequently than the book says.

    Your question raises more questions.

20 hour service, but you only put 25 - 30 hours a year on the motor, and change the fluids yearly.

No matter. READ THE OWNER'S MANUAL.

When under warranty, I had the dealer do the servicing.

Now I order the kit from PartsVu and do it my self.

got it late last season and only got 10 hours on it. I typically average 25-30 hours after a full season of usage.
