    Seastar control arm washer

    Greetings,

I was wondering if anyone has an OEM part number or can suggest a new washer size and type to replace the ones in the attached picture.

    Seastar part number: HC5345

You can make washers out of plastic drink bottles. Cut out the center holes with a hole puncher. That plastic is very durable and you can stack them to remove all the play in that joint.

Seastar does not list that washer as a serviceable part. I'm guessing they're concern is with the proper re-installation of the bolts.

The tiller plate bushings are not a serviceable part. It is considered a liability to change them. Seastar did have a couple shops that are authorized to replace them but I am not sure if they are still around.

So you have to replace the entire cylinder if they wear out? WOW.
