Mega 360 appears to have died...

Just completed a major update by replacing three Helix 12s with three new Xplore 12s and also swapped out the Ethernet switch to the newer AS ETH 5PGL one as well. Verified all my connections and power, everything seemed to be working fine. Updated the Xplore units to the latest SW update. First trip out all is good, everything is connected and showing on the network. Second trip out, fishing a club tournament and all is good most of the day until around 1pm when I look down at the bow and graph that is connected to the M360 and it's saying it cannot detect it. Try rebooting, check the connections, disconnect and reconnect then...still nothing.

Back home in the garage I've tried swapping the connections around but still nothing, like it just doesn't exist. I've verified it's getting power to the M360. I did a restore on that Xplore unit to see if that was the problem and still nothing.

Probably calling HB support soon, but wanted to see if there is anything else to check first? Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Have you checked the pins in the power cord to make sure none are broken off? Also, make sure the power connector on the Mega 360 pigtail hasn't separated. I had that happen once. That power connector isn't very large/robust.

Thanks Steve! I did check the pins on the power connector and all good there. I'll have to inspect the connector itself more, and you're right - it's not a very robust connector! Just seems odd to just stop like that, but who knows...

Make sure your selected transducer still shows M360 included.

It does not show up as an option at all, which is the problem. It was there and available on the network, but now it's just gone. I need to call HB support and see what they say...or may just open the thing up and see what's inside it!

You might try disconnecting the Mega 360, perform a Restore Factory Defaults, and then reconnect the Mega 360.
