New Trailer Wheels 05 Z21

Does anyone know if you can put the 17" challenger wheels on an 05 Z21 trailer to replace the stock wheels?

If anyone has does this, do you have any pictures?

Just food for thought! I have a 2005 / 520vx that I will never give up, but I wanted to replace the wheels because the looked their age! After shopping around and even trying to replace with the original's wheels (they don't make any more} I decided to have the originals powder coated gloss black at a fraction of the cost of new wheels and they came out awesome and they look great on the trailer!

I had my Ranger with the 17” wheels parked next to my Skeeter with 15” wheels and the overall size of the tires were almost identical. The 17’s had smaller sidewalls. Width was also slightly narrower on the 17” tire.
225/75-15 skeeter
215/65-17 Ranger.

first numbers are tread with in MM. second number is aspect ratio. It is a percentage of the section width. 65% of 225 mm.
to calculate overall tire size
the Skeeter would be 150% of the width, plus the wheel diameter. 28.29
the Ranger would be 130% of the width, plus the wheel diameter 28.00

The Ranger 17” combo is smaller in height and width than the Skeeters 15” combo.

I'll have to take a look at the tire size I have now and see how that shakes out.

Also appreciate the thought on the power coating! Might be a route to go to update the look a little bit.
