    Question 1994 C115 TLRS Spark

    PXL02556161.jpg

No, or very little spark at the spark plug, lower Right side when looking at the back of the motor.

I guess I can switch the ignition coil assembly for the upper and lower and see if the problem follows.
Is there a good way to test the coil, or do I just need to order a new one.
Motor will fire and run, but no power and definitely weak or no spark at that plug when cranking the motor with the plugs pulled.

Could be input to the coil (CDI or the connection to the CDI), the ground for the coil, the coil itself, the ignition lead, the spark plug cap or the plug itself.

I would start by swapping coils to see if the problem moves or stays with the number 3 cylinder.

Problem stayed at #3 after the coil swap. I replaced CDI about 10 years ago, have to look it up, any way to test the output on from the CDI on #3? I wonder if I could send it back and have it tested there. Not a cheap item..
