96 Evinrude Intruder water pressure gauge motor connection - this the spot?

Looking to hook up my water pressure gauge but unsure where to make the connection on the motor. Research on here says I’m looking for a brass hex nut. Instructions from the connection kit say the same.

Here’s a pic of my left bank. Is that brass hex nut what I’m looking for or something else?

Either side will work as they are both the same part number. Yes remove the brass hex plug and insert your hose fitting there.
