I've got an 88 Mariner 175 (serial # 0b219981) and am replacing the prop shaft seals. I had to replace the LU a little over 10 years ago and had an SEI LU put on. Started seeing water in my LU oil and decided to change the seals. My question is, what specific seals need to go in there? The reason I ask is, I ordered the parts before taking the LU apart and removing the bearing carrier. Once I removed the carrier and seals, I noticed they are different than what I ordered, which was from the Mercury parts lookup. The part number I ordered is 8M0204670. Both of these seals are the same based on the Mercury parts website. Is it because it is an SEI LU that the seals are different? The inner seal I removed was a full rubber seal, ( https://www.sterndrive.cc/product/Fi...6868-4077.html ), but the outer seal is the one I am questioning.
